- • As a Data Scientist / AI Engineer at Lemlist SAS, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our sales engagement platform by identifying and implementing high-impact AI solutions that directly influence product performance and business outcomes. Your work will bridge cutting-edge AI research with practical, production-grade systems that empower sales teams globally.
- • Day to day, you will: identify opportunities where AI can create leverage across the product and propose concrete use cases; design, develop, and maintain LLM-based systems including prompt engineering, retrieval pipelines, and evaluation frameworks; deploy and operate AI models and infrastructure with GPU server management and model serving; design, train, evaluate, and maintain Machine Learning models in production; and support business and product teams with data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.
- • You will join a lean, high-impact data team composed of a Senior Analytics Engineer, a Senior Data Engineer, and a Data Analyst, all of whom directly drive business decisions through rigorous analysis and engineering excellence. This team operates within a profitable, bootstrapped B2B SaaS company that has scaled to $35M ARR and a $150M valuation without external funding, fostering a culture of ownership, speed, and impact.
- • In this role, you will rapidly accelerate your expertise in productionizing LLMs and ML systems at scale, gain direct exposure to C-suite strategic discussions, and contribute to building a strong AI culture across the organization. You’ll have the autonomy to own end-to-end AI initiatives — from problem framing to deployment and monitoring — while working in an environment that values execution, curiosity, and technical excellence.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience in a Data Science or AI Engineering role, preferably in a fast-moving environment
- • Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, modeling, and pipeline development
- • Hands-on experience building and operating LLM-based systems, including prompt engineering, agentic pipelines (LangChain), RAG, evaluation frameworks, and observability
- • Proficiency with deep learning libraries such as PyTorch and Transformers, and experience with embedding models like SentenceTransformers
- • Experience deploying and managing models on cloud infrastructure, ideally GCP, with familiarity in CI/CD tools (Docker, Jenkins or equivalent)
- • Fluency in both French and English, and based in Paris (office or remote)
