📋 Description

• This freelance Data Scientist - AI Trainer role is critical for advancing the quality and real-world applicability of next-generation AI models by ensuring they reflect authentic data science reasoning, statistical rigor, and practical business context. Your expertise will directly influence how AI systems learn to assess data quality, select appropriate methodologies, and communicate analytical insights in ways that align with professional standards in the EU and UK.
• You will review and refine AI-generated outputs related to data science, machine learning, statistical modeling, and deployment practices, evaluating them for technical accuracy, methodological soundness, and alignment with real-world constraints such as data limitations, stakeholder needs, and regulatory considerations.
• A core responsibility involves drafting realistic, experience-based data science scenarios that mirror actual projects you’ve led or contributed to, including variations from multiple stakeholder perspectives (e.g., data scientist, business analyst, manager, or client) to help AI understand diverse viewpoints and decision-making trade-offs.
• You will identify gaps, logical inconsistencies, oversights, or weak reasoning in AI-generated content—such as inappropriate model selection, misinterpretation of p-values, or failure to address confounding variables—and provide structured, actionable feedback to improve the AI’s analytical reasoning.
• Working independently with clear task structures, you’ll engage in ongoing collaboration with the 10x.team and AI labs, receiving onboarding support and opportunities to contribute to evolving projects as they emerge, all while maintaining flexibility to balance this role with your primary professional commitments.

🎯 Requirements

• Senior-level data scientist with substantial professional experience in the EU or UK, including hands-on involvement in advising, designing, and executing data science or machine learning projects.
• Proven ability to evaluate analytical approaches, assess data quality, detect methodological flaws, and ensure compliance with statistical and business best practices.
• Comfortable working autonomously, delivering structured, critical feedback in writing, and available to commit 8–20 hours per week with reliable responsiveness.
