- • As a Data Scientist at Allstate, you will support the development and maintenance of data-driven and agentic AI solutions, contributing to innovative projects that protect families and advance industry leadership in pricing, telematics, and identity protection.
- • Day to day, you will learn and apply LLMs, Python, and modern data science tools; assist in exploring new data sources and models; support project planning by breaking down tasks; develop statistical and machine learning techniques; review results with peers; contribute to stakeholder communications; help identify appropriate modeling approaches; and assist in developing prototypes that integrate AI into business decision making.
- • You will partner closely with the Managing Data Scientist and cross-functional teams across the full AI development lifecycle, working in a collaborative environment that values best practices, reusable components, and high-quality execution of analytics solutions.
- • This role offers the opportunity to build foundational experience in AI agent development and cloud-based AI solutions, gain hands-on experience with IaC, CI/CD, containerization, and observability, and grow your expertise in applying AI to real-world business problems within a Fortune 500 company committed to innovation and impact.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of hands-on practical experience using Python for data analysis, modeling, and building production-ready solutions
- • Experience with modern data science tools including R, SQL, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
- • Strong theoretical exposure or practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks
- • Working knowledge or coursework exposure to CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), observability concepts, and cloud security fundamentals
- • Familiarity with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot
- • Introductory experience or strong interest in AI agent development using at least one framework (e.g., Azure AF, AWS Strands, Google ADK, LangGraph, OpenAI Agents SDK)
