- • As a Data Solution Architect at CSG Systems International, Inc., you will serve as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams, translating complex business needs into scalable, secure, and compliant technology solutions that directly impact CSG Forte’s payments, merchant onboarding, revenue, and operational platforms—driving growth, efficiency, and regulatory adherence in a high-stakes fintech environment.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include partnering with business leaders, product managers, and technology teams to gather and analyze requirements, then designing end-to-end solution architectures across applications, data, integrations, and cloud platforms that are resilient, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
- • You will lead solution design sessions and technical reviews to validate feasibility, define architecture patterns and integration strategies, and ensure alignment with Forte’s long-term technology roadmap, while collaborating closely with engineering teams to guide implementation and resolve complex technical challenges.
- • You will evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and third-party solutions—including Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL Server, AWS/Azure/GCP, and data warehousing architectures—ensuring all designs meet stringent security, compliance, and regulatory requirements specific to payments and regulated environments.
- • You will create and maintain detailed architecture documentation, diagrams, and design artifacts, support production readiness, troubleshoot deployed solutions, and continuously identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, automation, and system performance across the merchant lifecycle.
- • You will operate within a culture of integrity, innovation, and impact, where your work directly enables CSG’s mission to power unforgettable customer and employee experiences for global brands, leveraging over 40 years of expertise in solving complex business challenges through technology.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- • 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, application architecture, or senior engineering roles.
- • Strong understanding of application architecture, system integration, and API-based designs.
- • Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, C++, Java, etc.).
- • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Microsoft SQL Server, and the broader Microsoft ecosystem.
- • Experience with modern data warehousing architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- • Familiarity with data platforms, data integration patterns, analytics solutions, and third-party SaaS/vendor platform evaluation.
- • Understanding of security, authentication, authorization, and compliance best practices in regulated environments.
- • Ability to create clear architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
- • Strong communication skills to collaborate with executive, technical, and non-technical stakeholders.
- • Proven ability to lead cross-functional design discussions and influence architectural decisions.
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach to solution design.
- • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
