📋 Description

• • As a Data Systems Engineer at Onebrief, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers simulation outputs, analytics, and AI-enabled workflows across AtomEngine, the company’s proprietary cloud-based game engine. Your work will directly support military staff operations by transforming complex simulation data into usable, reliable insights that enhance decision-making and operational effectiveness.
• • Day to day, you will design, build, and operate scheduled and event-driven data pipelines for simulation outputs, telemetry, logs, and scenario metadata; develop and manage scalable data storage systems optimized for versioning and replay; expose clean, well-documented datasets and APIs to support analytics, reporting, and machine learning workflows; ensure data lineage, traceability, and comparability across versions and parameter sets; collaborate with simulation and AI engineers to define data contracts and schemas; and monitor and improve data system reliability, performance, and availability.
