• • The Database Engineering - Associate role at Fair Isaac Corporation (FICO) supports mission-critical database systems across MySQL, Oracle, Couchbase, AWS RDS, and Kubernetes EKS in a 24x7 production environment, ensuring high availability, performance, and security for global analytics platforms.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include performing capacity planning, health checks, performance tuning, disaster recovery implementation, query optimization, automation of deployments via DevOps practices, database hardening, managing EKS clusters for microservices, troubleshooting escalations, collaborating with development teams on design reviews, participating in on-call rotations, and documenting operational procedures.
