  • • As a Deal Desk Manager at LucidLink, you will own commission operations and sales compensation, ensuring the sales team is paid accurately, on time, and in alignment with incentive plans that drive the right behaviors. This role is critical to maintaining trust and transparency in one of the most sensitive functions in a sales organization.
  • • Day to day, you will manage end-to-end commission operations including monthly calculations, validation, and payouts; serve as the primary point of contact for commission inquiries and dispute resolution; lead commission plan design and governance with Sales, Finance, and RevOps; maintain compensation policy documentation; analyze payout trends and plan effectiveness; partner with Finance on accruals and reporting; administer commission tools; support pricing and deal desk operations including CPQ administration and discount frameworks; and enable the sales team through training on commission mechanics and quoting processes.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 4–6 years of experience in Sales Compensation, Revenue Operations, or Deal Desk roles within a B2B SaaS environment, with the majority focused on commission operations and plan management
  • • Deep expertise in sales compensation plan design, quota-setting, payout operations, dispute resolution, and compensation governance
  • • Experience administering or optimizing a commission management tool (e.g., QuotaPath, CaptivateIQ, Spiff, Xactly, or similar)
  • • Familiarity with SaaS pricing models, CPQ systems, and deal structuring to support quoting operations and partner effectively with Sales and Finance
  • • Strong analytical skills with the ability to model compensation scenarios, identify payout anomalies, and translate data into actionable recommendations
  • • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Legal, and RevOps in a high-growth, fast-moving environment
