- • Lead the end-to-end execution of enterprise deals, managing the commercial lifecycle from initial proposal and RFP response through agreement-in-principle to final contract signature.
- • Serve as the central point of coordination between Sales, Legal, Finance, and Security teams to ensure seamless deal progression and alignment on terms, pricing, compliance, and risk.
- • Structure and negotiate complex commercial agreements that balance speed with control, protecting gross margin while accelerating deal velocity.
- • Develop and refine winning proposal templates and response frameworks tailored to enterprise clients across healthcare payers, self-insured employers, and national health systems.
- • Own the configuration and accuracy of quote generation tools within Salesforce, ensuring pricing models, discount structures, and product bundles are correctly applied and compliant.
- • Identify inefficiencies in current deal workflows and drive operational improvements by embedding standardized deal structures into CRM systems and automating manual processes.
- • Collaborate with Legal to review and redline contracts, ensuring alignment with company policies, clinical compliance standards, and intellectual property protections from Sword’s 44+ patents.
- • Maintain rigorous deal governance by tracking key milestones, approvals, and dependencies to prevent delays and ensure timely closures.
- • Partner with Finance to validate pricing integrity, revenue recognition assumptions, and contract terms that impact billing and forecasting accuracy.
- • Work closely with Security teams to address enterprise client requirements around data privacy, HIPAA compliance, and system security protocols during the contracting phase.
- • Build and maintain a scalable operational infrastructure that enables a lean commercial team to support high-volume enterprise deal activity across three continents.
- • Act as a trusted advisor to Sales leadership by providing data-driven insights on deal trends, win/loss patterns, and contractual risks to inform strategy and forecasting.
- • Document and institutionalize best practices for deal execution, creating playbooks and training materials to onboard new team members and standardize cross-functional processes.
- • Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to deal cycle time, contract turnaround, and compliance adherence to continuously optimize the deal operations function.
- • Represent Deal Operations in cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving commercial efficiency, including system upgrades, policy updates, and process automation projects.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience managing complex enterprise deal cycles in a high-growth SaaS or healthcare technology company
- • Deep familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and experience configuring quotes, pricing models, and contract workflows
- • Strong understanding of commercial contracting, legal compliance, and financial controls in B2B enterprise sales
- • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience drafting and negotiating complex proposals and contracts
- • Analytical mindset with a track record of identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing scalable process improvements
