- • Join Decile Group, a pioneering force in venture capital, as a Resident supporting Decile Capital's fundraising operations and investment strategy. We are on a mission to democratize venture capital, aiming to launch 10,000 next-generation venture capital firms by 2030. Our integrated platform encompasses education through VC Lab, AI-enabled fund operations with Decile Hub, rapid fund launches via Start Fund, and direct capital deployment through Decile Capital. - • As a Resident, you will play a critical role in the success of Decile Capital's emerging manager investment strategy. Your primary focus will be on supporting the fundraising process, which involves meticulous investor research, diligent preparation of fundraising materials, and active participation in investor outreach and follow-up activities. This is an execution-oriented position demanding a high degree of ownership and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- • You will be instrumental in conducting in-depth research on Limited Partners (LPs), identifying potential investors who align with Decile Capital's investment thesis and emerging manager focus. This research will involve analyzing LP investment mandates, historical performance, and strategic priorities to tailor our fundraising approach effectively. Your findings will directly inform our outreach strategies and partnership development efforts.
- • A significant part of your responsibility will involve supporting the diligence process for potential investments. This includes gathering and organizing financial data, reviewing investment memos, and assisting in the preparation of due diligence reports. You will work closely with the investment team to ensure a thorough and efficient diligence process, contributing to informed investment decisions.
- • You will also be tasked with managing and refining internal operational workflows. This involves identifying areas for improvement in our existing processes, implementing new systems or tools, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the Decile Capital team. Your contributions will help enhance efficiency and scalability as we grow.
- • This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy in all tasks. You will be responsible for managing databases, tracking progress on fundraising initiatives, and ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date and readily accessible.
