- • The Dedicated Operations Technical Account Manager (DO-TAM) role at Red Hat is a critical onsite position supporting a key government customer in Colorado Springs, CO, focused on ensuring the stability, performance, and strategic evolution of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments in secure, mission-critical settings.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include hands-on administration of RHEL systems, performing patching, upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting; conducting system health checks and capacity planning; managing support cases; advising on lifecycle management; and serving as the primary technical liaison between the customer and Red Hat engineering, product, and support teams.
- • The role operates within Red Hat’s North American Public Sector Customer Success team, which partners with government and defense organizations to deliver tailored open source solutions that meet stringent security and operational requirements.
- • In this position, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise Linux operations within high-assurance environments, develop strategic advisory skills, and become a trusted technical advocate for a major government client while contributing to the advancement of open source infrastructure in public sector missions.
