- ⢠The Defined Benefits Client Manager II at Alight plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless delivery of defined benefits administrative services to clients, directly impacting employee financial security and organizational trust in benefits administration. This role is pivotal in maintaining service excellence, driving process improvements, and acting as the trusted liaison between clients and internal operations teams.
- ⢠Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting complex defined benefits client requirements using expert domain knowledge; addressing participant inquiries, unique situations, and client escalations with precision and empathy; driving consistent service delivery by coordinating with internal and external partners and leveraging data to standardize processes and foster innovation; managing ad hoc client projects such as plan spins, freezes, and acquisitions from initiation to closure; validating and communicating iCAT (Individual Client Assessment Tool) results to clients to ensure transparency and alignment; collaborating with the Oversight & Excellence team to identify inefficiencies and implement demand-reduction strategies; maintaining regular communication with client contacts on service status, project milestones, and delivery performance; and serving as the primary point of contact for Customer Care and Shared Services teams on client-specific issues requiring coordination or resolution.
