- • As a Delivery Solutions Architect (DSA) at Databricks, you will play a critical role in accelerating the adoption and growth of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform for public sector customers, ensuring technical accountability and driving value realization post-sale.
- • Day to day, you will engage with Solutions Architects to understand use case demand, lead post-technical win technical account strategy and execution, serve as the accountable technical lead for specific use cases across multiple teams, be the first point of contact for technical issues in production/go-live scenarios, coordinate with Professional Services on delivery plans, navigate Product and Engineering teams for innovations and upgrades, develop execution plans covering use case onboarding, enablement, product adoption, optimization, and governance, and provide KPI reporting on usage, customer health, and investment status to your Technical GM.
- • You will be part of Databricks’ Field Engineering organization, reporting directly to a DSA Manager, collaborating with sales, field engineering, Shared Services, User Education, Onboarding/Technical Services, Support, and expert-level technical teams to ensure customer success in complex, strategic public sector accounts.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in data and AI solution architecture, strengthen your ability to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes, lead cross-functional technical programs at scale, and become a trusted advisor to senior customer executives while driving measurable impact on platform adoption and ROI.
🎯 Requirements
- • U.S. citizenship is required due to federal contract obligations and access to classified information.
- • 7+ years of experience in technical project or program delivery within the Data and AI domain, with ability to contribute to technical design debates with customers.
- • Programming experience in Python, SQL, or Scala.
- • Experience in customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting roles.
- • Understanding of solution architecture for distributed data systems and how to attribute business value to project deliverables.
- • Technical program or project management experience including account, stakeholder, and resource management accountability.
- • Track record of resolving complex escalations with senior customer executives and conducting discovery workshops, creating strategic roadmaps, and managing delivery of complex programs.
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- • Willingness to travel up to 30% when needed.
