• • Design, build, and deliver high-quality software features that drive customer and business impact in the audit, cybersecurity, and financial compliance domains
• • Work directly with customers to identify, ideate, and solve their most challenging problems related to audit workflows and compliance automation
• • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and go-to-market teams to transform complex regulatory and operational challenges into elegant, user-focused solutions
• • Balance rapid iteration with long-term system maintainability, reliability, and technical health
• • Continuously improve the engineering tech stack, developer workflows, testing practices, and observability standards
• • Contribute to a supportive, growth-oriented engineering culture grounded in trust, learning, and excellence
• • Travel up to 25% of your time to engage with customers and support deployment efforts
• • Lead complex technical projects or systems, setting architectural direction and ensuring long-term system health (Senior level)
• • Collaborate with product managers and designers to shape product roadmaps and define technical tradeoffs (Senior level)
• • Serve as a domain expert in key technical areas such as frontend architecture, backend systems, or developer experience (Senior level)
• • Mentor other engineers and help raise the technical bar across the engineering team (Senior level)
• • Manage relationships with complex customers who have unique use cases and compliance requirements (Senior level)
• • Drive company-level technical initiatives and influence cross-team architecture (Staff level)
• • Set and champion engineering standards for scalability, security, and performance (Staff level)
• • Partner with engineering and product leadership to define long-term technical strategy (Staff level)
• • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders across Engineering, Product, and Design (Staff level)
• • Represent Fieldguide externally through writing, speaking, or open-source contributions (Staff level)
