We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Product Manager to spearhead the development of our options trading products. This pivotal role will directly influence platform volume, manage market risk, and solidify our competitive positioning in one of crypto's most dynamic and fastest-growing asset classes.
• As the Deputy Head of Options Trading, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our options offerings. Your primary objective will be to drive significant adoption and growth across our suite of options products. This involves delivering measurable improvements in key performance indicators such as platform volume, open interest, and overall trading economics. You will be at the forefront of innovation, ensuring our products not only meet but exceed the evolving needs of both retail and institutional traders.
• A core responsibility will be the design and implementation of institutional-grade trading infrastructure. This requires a deep understanding of what it takes to compete with tier-1 traditional finance exchanges. You will focus on optimizing execution speed, enhancing capital efficiency, and refining order matching logic to provide a seamless and high-performance trading experience.
• Building and maintaining sophisticated risk controls is paramount. You will develop robust systems that safeguard platform stability and protect customer assets, while simultaneously ensuring a trader-friendly environment. This delicate balance between prudent governance and maintaining a competitive edge is crucial for sustained success and trust.
• You will own the entire product lifecycle for options trading. This encompasses everything from conducting thorough market analysis and defining precise requirements to overseeing product launches, analyzing performance metrics, and iterating based on valuable trader feedback and dynamic market conditions. Your strategic vision will guide the product's evolution.
• Collaboration is key. You will lead cross-functional alignment efforts, working closely with teams responsible for spot, perpetual, and structured products. This ensures that the development of options products is seamlessly integrated with OKX’s broader trading platform strategy, creating a cohesive and powerful ecosystem for our users.
• You will be responsible for translating complex market needs and business objectives into clear, actionable product roadmaps and specifications. This involves deep dives into user behavior, market trends, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
• Engaging with key stakeholders, including engineering, design, marketing, legal, and compliance teams, will be a regular part of your role. You will champion the product vision, gather input, and ensure alignment throughout the development process.
• You will analyze trading data and user feedback to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement. This data-driven approach will inform product iterations and strategic decisions, ensuring continuous enhancement of the user experience and platform capabilities.
• The role demands a proactive and strategic mindset, with the ability to anticipate market shifts and proactively develop solutions. You will be expected to stay abreast of the latest developments in both the cryptocurrency and traditional derivatives markets.
• You will contribute to the overall strategic direction of OKX’s derivatives business, providing insights and recommendations based on your expertise in the options market.
• Ultimately, your success will be measured by the growth and profitability of OKX’s options trading business, the satisfaction of our users, and the robustness and reliability of the platform.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, with a strong preference for experience specifically within options trading.
• Deep understanding of options products, trading strategies, and market dynamics, coupled with a strong interest in cryptocurrency and its trading landscape.
• Proven ability to design and manage the full product lifecycle, from ideation and market analysis to launch and iteration, with a focus on institutional-grade trading infrastructure.
• Excellent logical thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable product plans.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
