- • Own the end-to-end architecture of the AVX ONE platform’s next-generation user experience, translating complex certificate-lifecycle workflows into elegant, intuitive interfaces that delight security teams and reduce mean-time-to-resolution by up to 40 %.
- • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, UX Research, and Customer Success to define the north-star vision for how global enterprises discover, issue, renew, and revoke millions of certificates without ever touching a command line.
- • Create and maintain a scalable, component-based design system in Figma that unifies web, mobile, and CLI touchpoints, ensuring every pixel feels unmistakably “AppViewX” while remaining WCAG 2.2 AA compliant and supporting 18 languages.
- • Lead design sprints and collaborative workshops that bring together security architects, DevOps engineers, and CISO stakeholders to rapidly prototype and validate concepts that prevent outages, reduce security incidents, and enable crypto-agility.
- • Translate intricate PKI policy rules—think certificate pinning, SAN validation, and post-quantum algorithms—into clear, step-by-step visual workflows that empower junior admins and seasoned experts alike to make zero-mistake decisions under pressure.
- • Establish and evangelize measurable UX KPIs (task-completion rate, error rate, NPS) that directly tie to customer renewal rates and expansion ARR, presenting quarterly read-outs to the executive team and Board.
- • Champion accessibility, performance, and inclusive design from day one, ensuring that color-blind users, screen-reader users, and low-bandwidth regions all experience sub-second load times and friction-free interactions.
- • Collaborate with Engineering to implement a token-driven theming engine that allows Fortune-500 customers to white-label the AVX ONE portal in minutes, not weeks, while still inheriting security and compliance guardrails.
- • Mentor a distributed team of product designers and UI engineers across India, the U.S., and EMEA, fostering a culture of critique, curiosity, and continuous learning that has earned AppViewX its Great Place to Work certification.
- • Contribute to open-source design resources—pattern libraries, icon sets, accessibility checklists—that position AppViewX as a thought leader in the cybersecurity and DevSecOps communities.
- • Stay ahead of emerging threats (quantum cryptography, short-lived certificates, zero-trust architectures) and proactively evolve the design strategy so customers remain compliant and secure without additional cognitive load.
- • Influence the roadmap by synthesizing customer telemetry, competitive analysis, and regulatory trends into compelling storyboards that secure funding for high-impact design initiatives.
- • Own the design QA process—pixel-perfect reviews, accessibility audits, performance budgets—ensuring every release ships with the same craftsmanship that global banks and airlines have come to expect from AppViewX.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of product or UX design experience with at least 3 years designing complex, data-heavy B2B SaaS platforms; prior exposure to cybersecurity, PKI, or certificate management is a strong plus.
- • Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including advanced prototyping, design tokens, and component variants; familiarity with Storybook and React is highly desirable.
- • Demonstrated ability to translate intricate technical requirements into intuitive user flows, backed by a portfolio that showcases measurable business impact.
- • Experience leading inclusive design and accessibility initiatives that meet or exceed WCAG 2.2 AA standards.
- • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
