Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own, build, and maintain the common component library for the Tessera Mosaic platform, ensuring reusable, accessible, and well-documented UI components are implemented in production front-end code.
- • Establish and uphold consistent design patterns across all product surfaces by defining conventions, preventing drift, and evolving systems as the platform scales.
- • Translate high-fidelity Figma designs into faithful, performant, and reusable front-end implementations while feeding real technical constraints back into the design process.
- • Build prototypes and reference implementations that demonstrate how new design patterns should behave in code, bridging the gap between mockups and production.
- • Partner directly with product designers, product managers, and engineers to align on vision, ensure technical feasibility, and ship high-quality UI at speed.
- • Champion accessibility, performance, and cross-surface consistency as first-class properties of the design system, not afterthoughts.
- • Maintain the health of the design system over time through versioning, documentation, migration paths, and developer ergonomics to enable other engineering teams to move quickly.
- • Anticipate emerging UI needs as the platform grows, proactively refactoring and extending components to avoid one-off implementations and technical debt.
- • Ensure seamless synchronization between design tools (Figma) and the codebase, maintaining alignment between design specifications and implemented components.
- • Drive adoption of the design system across the organization by creating clear guidelines, examples, and tooling that empower non-design engineers to use components correctly.
- • Operate with extreme ownership over the entire lifecycle of design system components—from ideation and prototyping to deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
- • Work at the intersection of enterprise AI, ERP/CRM/HCM systems, and front-end engineering, building UI that powers complex, multi-agent automation workflows on platforms like SAP, Salesforce, Workday, Snowflake, and MuleSoft.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years working at the intersection of design and front-end engineering (design engineer, UX engineer, design systems engineer, or front-end engineer with strong design sensibility)
- • Strong front-end engineering skills with production experience in React, TypeScript, modern CSS, and component-driven architecture
- • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining a component library or design system used by real teams in production
🏖️ Benefits
- • Own the component library and design patterns at the foundation of an entire enterprise AI platform
- • Work at the intersection of design, front-end engineering, AI, and ERP systems
- • High ownership, high impact, and direct influence on how the product is built
- • Collaborate with a deeply technical and customer-focused team
