📋 Description

• As a Detection Engineer (SOC Analyst) on the night shift at Zscaler, you will serve as a critical guardian of the company’s digital infrastructure, monitoring, detecting, and analyzing security incidents to protect Zscaler’s assets and support its mission of securing the AI age through its Zero Trust Exchange platform.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring security alerts and events to identify potential threats, detecting and analyzing security incidents using multiple security tools, responding promptly to incidents following established procedures, conducting in-depth analysis to determine scope and impact, and performing phishing incident analysis.
• You will join Zscaler’s Enterprise Security team, reporting to the SOC Manager, in a remote role based in India, contributing to a culture defined by customer obsession, collaboration, ownership, accountability, and intelligent use of AI to stay ahead of evolving threats.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in security operations, AI-driven threat detection, and incident response while developing your ability to thrive in ambiguity, act as an owner, solve complex problems, collaborate with high trust, and grow continuously through feedback and learning.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a Security Operations Centre
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
• Familiarity with security technologies including SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, firewall, and antivirus tools like Chronicle and Crowdstrike Falcon
• Familiarity with computer networks, various operating systems, and endpoint fundamentals
• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain
