- • Develop, test, debug, and maintain production software systems for new and existing billing and payments features within 1Password’s Usage-Based Billing Team.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle to ensure smooth and reliable software releases.
- • Communicate technical requirements and solutions to non-technical partners, translating complex systems into understandable terms.
- • Participate in planning sessions by identifying major tasks, breaking down work, estimating effort, and creating realistic timelines.
- • Write comprehensive tests across all stages of the development cycle to ensure code functionality, reliability, and quality.
- • Conduct code reviews for peers to maintain high code standards, foster knowledge sharing, and cultivate a culture of constructive feedback.
- • Generate and maintain clear documentation for code processes, systems, and workflows to support scalability and onboarding.
- • Mentor junior and new team members through technical guidance, pair programming, and sharing team expectations and best practices.
- • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices to continuously improve team output.
- • Be available for rotational on-call duties to provide uninterrupted support and resolve critical production incidents promptly.
- • Leverage AI and machine learning tools responsibly in daily work to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and innovation in billing systems.
- • Contribute to building a transparent, reliable, and scalable billing platform that supports 1Password’s multi-product monetization strategy.
- • Embrace a fast-paced, dynamic environment where ambiguity is common and solutions require curiosity, adaptability, and results-driven thinking.

🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of experience in software development
- • Proven experience with software development best practices and coding standards
- • Demonstrated ability to solve moderately complex problems and propose effective technical solutions
- • Experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- • Passion for testing methodologies and debugging techniques to ensure high-quality code
- • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new programming languages
