- • Own the end-to-end developer experience marketing strategy for Progress Software’s global portfolio, translating complex technical capabilities into compelling narratives that resonate with software engineers, architects, and DevOps teams worldwide.
- • Architect and execute integrated campaigns that span content marketing, community engagement, event programming, and digital channels—each touchpoint engineered to accelerate product adoption and deepen developer advocacy.
- • Partner daily with Product Management, Engineering, and Developer Relations to surface roadmap priorities, gather technical insights, and craft messaging that is both technically accurate and irresistibly engaging.

- • Orchestrate global hackathons, virtual meetups, and flagship conference activations (Microsoft Build, AWS re:Invent, KubeCon) that attract thousands of participants and generate high-quality leads for Sales.
- • Champion an inclusive, vibrant online community across Discord, Reddit, Twitter, and Dev.to—moderating discussions, spotlighting community projects, and turning power users into brand evangelists.
- • Collaborate with Creative and Web teams to optimize the developer portal for discoverability, performance, and conversion; run A/B tests on landing pages, CTAs, and onboarding flows to lift activation rates.
- • Translate market intelligence and competitive analysis into differentiated positioning, ensuring every asset—from a tweet to a whitepaper—speaks directly to the pain points and aspirations of modern developers.
- • Manage a global budget across paid media, swag, tooling, and sponsorships; negotiate with vendors and track ROI to ensure every dollar spent drives measurable developer delight.
- • Mentor junior marketers and cross-functional teammates on developer-centric storytelling, technical empathy, and growth tactics—fostering a culture of experimentation and continuous learning.
- • Champion accessibility, security, and open-source best practices in all campaigns, reinforcing Progress’s commitment to responsible innovation.
- • Serve as the voice of the developer inside Progress, funneling feedback from the field into product roadmaps and influencing engineering priorities with real-world evidence.
- • Stay ahead of emerging trends—WebAssembly, serverless, low-code, AI pair-programming—and translate them into timely, buzz-worthy content that keeps Progress at the forefront of industry conversation.
