đź“‹ Description
- • As the first Developer Relations hire at Linqapp Inc., you will be the primary voice and bridge between the company and the developer community, playing a pivotal role in driving adoption of Linq’s messaging infrastructure for conversational agents by making it effortless for developers to integrate iMessage, RCS, SMS, and AI-powered communication into their applications.
- • Your work will directly influence how developers discover, evaluate, and succeed with Linq’s platform, turning technical complexity into accessible, engaging experiences that accelerate product integration and foster long-term community trust.
- • You will create high-quality technical content including comprehensive documentation, step-by-step tutorials, quickstart guides, sample applications, and blog posts that demystify Linq’s APIs and showcase real-world use cases for messaging and conversational AI integration.
- • You will actively engage with developer communities across key platforms such as GitHub, Stack Overflow, Discord, Reddit, X (formerly Twitter), and Hacker News, answering questions, sharing insights, and fostering meaningful conversations that position Linq as a trusted partner in the developer ecosystem.
- • You will represent Linq at local and national tech events, including meetups, hackathons, and conferences in San Francisco and beyond, delivering talks, running workshops, and networking with founders and engineers to increase brand visibility and gather real-time feedback.
- • You will develop and maintain code samples, integration guides, and reference implementations that reduce time-to-first-success for developers, while continuously improving documentation based on user feedback and usage patterns.
- • You will act as the voice of the developer within Linq, translating community feedback, pain points, and feature requests into actionable product insights that inform roadmap decisions and improve the overall developer experience.
- • You will track and analyze key developer-centric metrics such as API adoption rates, developer Net Promoter Score (NPS), community engagement levels, and content performance to measure the impact of your efforts and optimize strategies over time.
- • You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and marketing teams to ensure alignment between technical messaging, product capabilities, and go-to-market strategies, helping shape Linq’s positioning as a developer-first infrastructure provider.
- • You will operate with high autonomy in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment, where you’ll have the freedom to experiment, iterate, and build the Developer Relations playbook from the ground up — shaping not just a function, but a culture.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2–5 years of experience in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, Technical Community Management, or a similar customer-facing technical role
- • Proven ability to write clear, accurate, and engaging technical documentation and long-form content (e.g., tutorials, blog posts, API guides)
- • Hands-on experience with APIs, messaging platforms (e.g., SMS, RCS, iMessage), or communications infrastructure, with the ability to read, write, and debug code in at least one modern programming language
- • Comfortable engaging with technical communities online and in person, including public speaking, moderating forums, and presenting at events
- • Self-motivated, scrappy mindset — able to take initiative, build processes from scratch, and thrive in ambiguous, low-structure environments
🏖️ Benefits
- • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage
- • Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO) policy to support work-life balance
- • Paid parental leave for new parents
- • 401(k) retirement plan with company contribution
- • Wellness stipend, book stipend, and access to professional development opportunities for continuous learning
- • Direct access to leadership in a flat, bureaucratic-free organization where your ideas are heard and acted upon quickly
