  • • In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with our dedicated account teams to meticulously assess customer data center environments and architect bespoke infrastructure solutions that are precisely aligned with their overarching business objectives. Your expertise will be instrumental in building and nurturing robust technical relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and strategic partners, ensuring SHI remains at the cutting edge of technological advancements. A key aspect of your role will involve imparting this knowledge through comprehensive product training and technical education sessions for both our internal sales teams and our valued clientele, positioning you as a critical knowledge conduit.
  • • As a trusted IT advisor to our customers, you will work in tandem with Field Account Executives, acting as a technical counterpart to drive strategic initiatives. You will be responsible for proactively managing the solution practice pipeline, developing sophisticated strategies for our top prospects, and actively pursuing new business opportunities. Your mission will be to identify and uncover technology opportunities across a broad spectrum of critical IT domains, including Data Center infrastructure, Cloud computing (both public and private), advanced Networking solutions, robust Security frameworks, Collaboration tools, and comprehensive IT Services.
  • • Developing solutions that not only meet but exceed customer needs and budgetary constraints through strategic planning and deep technical understanding will be paramount. You will engage with multiple layers of client contacts, from CIOs and IT Directors to CTOs, ensuring a holistic and effective management of each account. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in educating and developing our sales teams, enhancing their capabilities in technical selling, product knowledge, service offerings, and staying abreast of emerging technology trends. This involves designing and delivering engaging presentations, adapting your communication style to diverse audiences, and facilitating effective communication channels.
  • • Your ability to negotiate proactively, initiate discussions, and contribute to conflict resolution will be highly valued. You will be expected to manage complex tasks and projects with meticulous attention to detail, identifying and rectifying any errors or inconsistencies to ensure the highest quality of output. Advanced organizational skills will be essential for coordinating multiple projects, delegating tasks effectively, and leveraging sophisticated organizational tools and methods. Proactive follow-up on tasks and contributing to efficient workflow management are also key competencies. You will be empowered to identify potential problems, initiate preventive measures, and propose innovative solutions, demonstrating strong problem-solving capabilities. Building and expanding professional networks, initiating collaborations, and contributing to team cohesion will be integral to your success. Developing and implementing comprehensive documentation standards and best practices to support operational efficiency will also be a part of your responsibilities. Ultimately, you will be driven by a results-oriented mindset, setting challenging goals and leading by example to achieve them, showcasing a consistent track record of success in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • • This role requires a deep understanding of complex Data Center sales opportunities, with the ability to design sophisticated infrastructures encompassing hybrid cloud, hyper-converged systems, software-defined data centers (SDDC), infrastructure/platform as a service (IaaS/PaaS), automation, containerization, and Data Center Management Platforms. A strong grasp of Virtualization technologies, including hypervisors, server virtualization, SDDC, containerization, and automation is essential. You must be adept at communicating and selling complex technical products and services by understanding customer needs, articulating value propositions, and providing expert technical guidance throughout the sales cycle. Expertise in mainstream technologies such as Dell Technologies, NetApp, HPE, Cisco, Pure Storage, Azure, AWS, Veeam, and Nutanix is expected. Experience with Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, and High Availability Solutions (backup/recovery, data protection, mirroring, active/standby, active/active, clustering) is also a critical component of this role.
