📋 Description

• As a Solutions Engineer at Lakera, you will be instrumental in driving sales velocity, ensuring customer success, and actively shaping the evolution of our groundbreaking AI Defense Plane. This customer-facing role places you at the critical intersection of technology and business, serving as the primary technical liaison throughout the entire sales cycle and acting as a vital resource for our Customer Success team.
• Your core responsibility will be to deeply understand the unique challenges and objectives of our enterprise clients. You will translate these complex needs into tangible, effective solutions, architecting how Lakera's AI Defense Plane can be integrated to fortify their AI stacks and unlock innovative, cutting-edge use cases. This involves a proactive approach to identifying opportunities where our technology can deliver maximum value.
• You will collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering. This close partnership is essential to ensure that Lakera not only meets but exceeds customer expectations, driving our mission to secure the future of AI forward.
• A key aspect of your role will be to develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including guides and best practices. This will streamline the pre-sales engagement process for prospects and provide clear, actionable guidance for post-sales customer onboarding and utilization.
• You will be hands-on in supporting product configuration and implementing minor technical adjustments necessary for successful prospect and customer implementations. This ensures a smooth and efficient deployment experience.
• Your insights will be invaluable. You will act as a crucial conduit, feeding prospect feedback directly into our Product and Engineering teams. This direct line of communication helps to shape our product roadmap, ensuring that Lakera’s platform evolves in lockstep with the real-world demands and emerging trends in AI security.
• You will play a pivotal role in establishing the foundation for a scalable Solutions Engineering function within Lakera. This includes developing robust playbooks, defining repeatable best practices, and contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the team as we grow.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar customer-facing technical role.
• Proven track record of managing relationships with large, complex organizations, ideally with a deeply technical enterprise product.
• Proficiency in coding within the Python and Javascript ecosystems.
• Experience enabling large-scale implementations in at least one of the major hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Understanding of and experience navigating security, compliance, and IT processes and requirements when implementing B2B products at large enterprises.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with comfort presenting to diverse audiences.
