The ServiceNow Developer role is a remote position based in Brazil, contributing to the development and evolution of ServiceNow-based solutions that support clients’ digital transformation and operational efficiency.
- • The ServiceNow Developer will develop and configure basic to intermediate functionalities on the ServiceNow platform, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Notifications, and Catalog Items. They will support workflow automation using Flow Designer and legacy workflows, assist in simple REST and SOAP integrations under senior supervision, and implement data models in tables, catalogs, and CMDB. The role includes executing unit tests, maintaining technical documentation, participating in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives), collaborating with senior developers, architects, and business analysts, and supporting knowledge transfer and defect resolution to ensure high-quality delivery and continuous improvement.
- • The developer will work within a skilled, collaborative team of ServiceNow professionals, architects, and business analysts who follow Rimini Street’s technical standards and ServiceNow best practices. The team operates in a global, fast-paced environment focused on delivering reliable, scalable enterprise solutions while fostering a culture of mutual respect, innovation, and client-centric problem-solving. - • In this role, the developer will deepen their expertise in ServiceNow platform capabilities, including ITSM processes, integration techniques, and data modeling. They will gain hands-on experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, improve their JavaScript, JSON, and XML skills, and develop stronger communication and collaboration abilities. The position offers a clear path to advance toward mid-level or senior ServiceNow roles, with opportunities to lead components of projects, mentor junior team members, and contribute to platform governance and continuous improvement initiatives.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (completed or in progress)
- • 5–9 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, configuration, and support
- • Basic to intermediate knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, and XML; understanding of ITSM concepts and ServiceNow core processes
- • Experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments; ability to follow development standards and apply feedback
- • Fluency in both English and Portuguese (required); intermediate English proficiency minimum
