📋 Description

• As a Development DBA (PL/SQL) at Guidehouse, you will play a critical role in supporting database development, performance, and reliability for mission-critical systems, ensuring smooth transitions from development to production environments.
• Day to day, you will design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL scripts for automation, data processing, and database monitoring; troubleshoot performance and data quality issues; collaborate with development and support teams; and create technical documentation for system operations.
• You will join Guidehouse’s Development Operations team, a remote-first group focused on delivering robust database solutions across federal and commercial clients, with opportunities to work on complex, secure systems requiring Public Trust clearance.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in Oracle database administration and development, gain exposure to cloud technologies like AWS, and contribute to high-impact projects while working in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/management information systems or equivalent experience
• Minimum of six (6) years of experience as an Oracle Database Developer
• Strong knowledge and experience in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL, including functions, procedures, triggers, and packages
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data and system performance issues
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust clearance
• Proficiency with Oracle tools such as SQL Developer, SQL Loader, and scripting in Perl or shell
