đź“‹ Description
- • Architect and own the full lifecycle of hybrid cloud and on-prem infrastructure for life-critical medical software that directly impacts patient safety and global blood supply availability.
- • Design, deploy, and maintain AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudTrail) while simultaneously managing legacy on-prem data centers, ensuring 99.9 % uptime for FDA-regulated applications.
- • Write and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible to provision, version, and audit every component of the stack, enabling reproducible, compliant environments across dev, test, and production.
- • Automate end-to-end software delivery pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD, cutting deployment time from hours to minutes and eliminating manual errors that could compromise sterile manufacturing data.
- • Partner with senior R&D engineers to embed security, scalability, and compliance controls into every layer of the stack, aligning with HIPAA, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, and IEC 62304 standards.
- • Build and maintain self-service automation for on-premise software installations using Ansible, PowerShell, and Python, reducing field-service travel and accelerating time-to-value for hospital customers.
- • Troubleshoot complex networking and connectivity issues spanning AWS regions, VPNs, MPLS circuits, and on-prem VLANs, ensuring seamless data flow between cloud analytics and factory-floor devices.
- • Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting with CloudWatch and Datadog, creating dashboards that surface both performance metrics and security anomalies in real time.
- • Participate in a 24×7 on-call rotation, leading incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-mortems that drive systemic improvements and prevent recurrence.
- • Continuously evaluate emerging cloud and DevOps technologies, running proof-of-concepts that keep Haemonetics at the forefront of medical device innovation and operational excellence.
- • Mentor junior engineers and cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of automation, documentation, and relentless improvement that scales with the company’s global growth.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5–7 years of hands-on DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or IT automation experience, with a total of 10–15 years in infrastructure, cloud, and enterprise application deployment.
- • Expert-level proficiency with AWS core services and a proven track record of production-grade implementations.
- • Deep, practical mastery of Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) and CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
- • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and tooling.
- • Solid understanding of networking, security best practices, and regulatory compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, FDA, ISO 13485, or IEC 62304.
- • Experience with monitoring and observability solutions (CloudWatch, Datadog) and incident response in hybrid environments.
🏖️ Benefits
- • 401(k) with up to 6 % employer match and immediate vesting—your retirement grows from day one.
- • Flexible time off for salaried employees and generous vacation accrual for hourly employees, plus paid sick time and floating holidays to recharge and maintain work-life balance.
- • Employee stock purchase plan and eligibility for annual discretionary bonus and long-term incentive awards, aligning your success with the company’s mission.
- • Comprehensive health and welfare benefits, parental leave, short- and long-term disability insurance, and tuition reimbursement to support you and your family’s well-being and growth.
