📋 Description

• Find and eliminate bottlenecks across engineering and business operations using DevOps and agile principles, prioritizing problem-solving over tool familiarity.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code to ensure reliable and scalable software delivery.
• Review, refactor, and harden prototype and AI-generated applications built by non-engineering teams into secure, production-grade systems as part of VibeOps initiatives.
• Integrate authentication, automated testing, dependency scanning, secret scanning, and secure deployment paths into department-built tools before they access live data.
• Strengthen DevSecOps practices by implementing dependency scanning, SAST/DAST, security smell testing, and proactive vulnerability management across core systems and VibeOps workflows.
• Develop and maintain automations and integrations that improve efficiency across Support, Onboarding, Sales, and Engineering teams.
• Design, troubleshoot, and support APIs used internally to connect systems and streamline workflows.
• Support compliance requirements and security testing workflows aligned with SOC2 and other relevant frameworks.
• Partner directly with non-technical teams to understand their automated tools, guide improvements, and ensure maintainability and security standards are met.
• Work with backend technologies including Kotlin, Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, and AWS services (Lambda, SQS, RDS, EC2/EB).
• Use scripting languages such as Python and Bash to automate repetitive tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
• Apply infrastructure-as-code practices using AWS and tooling such as Terraform or Pulumi.
• Utilize security tooling including Snyk, SonarQube, TruffleHog, SIEMs, and other vulnerability management platforms.
• Engage with integration and automation platforms like Zapier, Pipedream, and AI agent frameworks to support cross-functional workflows.
• Adapt quickly to new technologies and tools, prioritizing learning agility and ownership over prior experience with the exact stack.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems holistically by identifying root bottlenecks and applying DevOps practices, not just tool familiarity
• Proficiency in scripting and development languages such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Kotlin, or Java
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud platforms (AWS)
• Hands-on experience with security tooling including dependency scanning, SAST/DAST, and vulnerability management
• Strong API design and troubleshooting skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with non-technical teams
