Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own and continuously improve WalkMe’s Federal-grade deployment pipelines, ensuring every release to our Digital Adoption Platform is secure, compliant, and lightning-fast for the hundreds of millions of end-users who rely on us inside SAP environments.
- • Architect and maintain cloud-native infrastructure on AWS that scales elastically with traffic spikes from Fortune-500 rollouts, leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) so every change is peer-reviewed, versioned, and reproducible.
- • Implement end-to-end observability using Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana—defining SLIs/SLOs, building actionable dashboards, and creating intelligent alerts that wake you only when it really matters and keep Federal customers’ uptime above 99.9 %.
- • Containerize micro-services with Docker and orchestrate them through Kubernetes (EKS), rolling out blue-green and canary releases that cut deployment risk to near zero while giving developers self-service environments that spin up in under five minutes.
- • Partner with software, security, and compliance teams to harden our stack: run CIS-benchmarked AMI pipelines, enforce least-privilege IAM policies, rotate secrets automatically via Vault, and maintain SOC 2 & FedRAMP audit trails without slowing delivery.
- • Automate everything—from database migrations on MySQL, Postgres, and MongoDB to cost-optimization scripts that shave 15 % off our AWS bill—freeing engineers to focus on features instead of toil.
- • Provide on-call support on a rotating basis, debugging multi-region latency issues, remediating failed deployments, and writing post-mortems that turn incidents into systemic improvements.
- • Contribute to our internal developer platform: build CLI tools, Helm charts, and GitLab CI templates that let any engineer ship code with a single `/deploy` slash command.
- • Evaluate bleeding-edge tech (e.g., Kubernetes Gateway API, eBPF observability, Graviton-based EC2) through proof-of-concepts and present findings that influence the roadmap of both WalkMe and SAP’s broader cloud strategy.
- • Mentor junior engineers and interns, running weekly lunch-and-learns on topics like chaos engineering and secure supply-chain practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.
- • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion by participating in our DEI guild, ensuring that tooling, documentation, and incident response practices are accessible to every team member regardless of background.
