📋 Description

• Own the heartbeat of Insider One’s cloud infrastructure—design, build, and harden the systems that serve 2,000+ global brands and 1.5 billion end-users every month. You will be the last line of defense for uptime, latency, and security, ensuring that campaigns for Samsung, Nike, L’Oréal, and Singapore Airlines launch flawlessly.
• Architect multi-cloud, multi-region environments on AWS, Google Cloud, and Huawei Cloud. You will codify every layer with Terraform/Terragrunt, spin up Kubernetes clusters that auto-scale from zero to thousands of nodes, and lock down traffic with bullet-proof VPCs, Security Groups, and IAM policies. Your blueprints will become the gold standard for zero-downtime migrations and disaster-recovery playbooks.
• Create bullet-proof CI/CD pipelines that cut release cycles from days to minutes. You will integrate GitHub Actions, Argo CD, and custom runners so that every pull request is built, tested, security-scanned, and deployed to staging or production without human touch. Feature flags, canary releases, and automated rollbacks will give product teams the confidence to ship hourly.
• Build self-healing, observable systems. You will wire Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and OpenTelemetry to surface golden signals (latency, traffic, errors, saturation) and set SLOs that keep error budgets sacred. When alerts fire, your runbooks and ChatOps bots will resolve incidents before customers notice. You will also craft dynamic dashboards that executives use to track business KPIs in real time.
• Automate chaos engineering and game days. You will simulate region loss, AZ failure, and dependency outages to validate resiliency, then feed findings back into architecture reviews and sprint planning. Your chaos experiments will be so realistic that Netflix’s Chaos Monkey will look like a toy.
• Optimize cost and carbon footprint. You will right-size instances, leverage spot and reserved capacity, and implement auto-shutdown policies that save six-figure cloud spend annually while shrinking our environmental impact. You will present monthly FinOps reports that show exactly how many trees we saved by turning off idle GPUs at 2 a.m.
• Champion DevSecOps culture. You will embed security scanning (SAST, DAST, container image, IaC) into every stage of the pipeline, enforce least-privilege access, and lead blameless post-mortems that turn failures into shared learning. Your security scorecards will be the envy of SOC 2 auditors.
• Mentor engineers across 30 global offices. You will run internal guilds, lunch-and-learns, and pair-programming sessions on Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitOps, leveling up the entire engineering org. Your documentation will be so clear that interns deploy to prod on day three.
• Participate in a 24×7 on-call rotation with compassionate follow-the-sun coverage. You will join a rotation that respects work-life balance, armed with actionable alerts, exhaustive runbooks, and executive support to fix root causes—not symptoms. When the pager buzzes, you’ll already have a tested fix in your back pocket.
• Drive continuous improvement. You will analyze DORA metrics (lead time, deployment frequency, MTTR, change fail rate) and run quarterly OKR reviews to push the platform toward elite performance benchmarks. Your dashboards will make Google’s SRE book look like a rough draft.
• Contribute to open-source and community initiatives. You will represent Insider One at KubeCon, AWS re:Invent, and local meetups, sharing battle-tested patterns and bringing fresh ideas back home. Your talks will trend on YouTube and inspire the next generation of cloud engineers.
• Shape the future of a unicorn with purpose. Your code will power social-impact projects like AI Training for Teachers, SheCodes, and 100 Social Responsibility Projects, amplifying education and women in STEM across 30 countries. Every deployment you green-light directly translates into classrooms empowered and careers launched.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years designing and operating production-grade Kubernetes clusters on AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Expert-level Terraform/Terragrunt skills with multi-cloud, multi-account architectures
• Deep experience with CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, Argo CD, or similar) and GitOps workflows
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Go, Python, or TypeScript) for automation and tooling
• Nice-to-have: CKA/CKAD certification, chaos-engineering tooling (Litmus, Chaos Mesh), and FinOps practitioner credentials
