📋 Description

• Architect and own Insider One’s end-to-end test automation infrastructure, ensuring every commit, build, and release is continuously validated at scale across 30 global offices and 2000+ enterprise customers.
• Design, code, and maintain resilient CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins and AWS that execute thousands of automated tests in parallel on Docker and Kubernetes clusters, cutting release cycles from days to minutes while guaranteeing zero-downtime deployments.
• Write production-grade Python, Java, and Groovy scripts that spin up ephemeral test environments, inject synthetic data, and tear down resources automatically—saving the QA team hundreds of hours per sprint.
• Build internal tooling that bridges the gap between development and QA: dashboards that surface real-time test metrics, Slack bots that alert on flaky tests, and self-service portals where any engineer can trigger a full regression suite on demand.
• Champion performance and reliability by tuning Linux hosts, optimizing container resource limits, and implementing auto-scaling policies that keep test suites running fast even during peak load.
• Introduce Git branching models and code-review workflows that enforce quality gates—every pull request must pass automated security, unit, integration, and end-to-end tests before it can reach the mainline.
• Collaborate with 50-nationality engineering squads to embed testing best practices into the SDLC: from contract-testing micro-services to chaos-engineering production clusters, ensuring Samsung, Nike, L’Oréal, and other Fortune 500 clients never experience a regression.
• Continuously experiment with emerging DevOps technologies—evaluate new orchestrators, service meshes, or serverless runners—and present findings in Tech & Dev Talks that inspire the entire 1,500-person community.
• Mentor junior QA and DevOps engineers through pair-programming sessions, brown-bag lunches, and internal AI-driven coding academies, multiplying the team’s productivity and shaping the next generation of leaders.
• Contribute to Insider One’s social impact initiatives: automate test environments for Code Academy and SheCodes, giving under-represented groups hands-on experience with world-class tooling.
• Measure everything—track pipeline success rates, mean time to detect, and test coverage—and turn data into actionable insights that guide quarterly OKRs and strategic product decisions.
• Participate in blameless post-mortems, root-cause analyses, and incident reviews, transforming every failure into a learning opportunity that hardens the platform for millions of end-users.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps in Test, TestOps, or Senior Automation QA Engineer in a cloud-native, micro-services environment.
• Strong proficiency in at least two of the following languages: Python, Java, or Groovy; ability to write clean, maintainable automation code and review peers’ contributions.
• Proven expertise designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and AWS; practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerized test environments.
• Solid scripting skills in Bash and SQL; experience installing, tuning, and optimizing performance on Linux operating systems.
• Deep understanding of Git workflows and branching models; familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) is a strong plus.
