📋 Description

• • As a DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer at Onhires Inc.'s client, you will be an integral part of a dynamic Platform & Infrastructure team, responsible for architecting, automating, and maintaining the robust infrastructure that powers a diverse portfolio of 10 in-house B2C digital products. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a product-based SaaS organization that prioritizes internal development and scaling, free from external client pressures or investor demands. Your work will directly impact the speed, reliability, and scalability of multiple live products experiencing high traffic, as well as upcoming product launches.
• • You will play a pivotal role in designing and managing sophisticated CI/CD pipelines, with a strong emphasis on GitHub Actions. This involves creating efficient workflows that enable product squads to deploy code rapidly and securely, ensuring a seamless development lifecycle.
• • A core responsibility will be the implementation and meticulous maintenance of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. This ensures that our infrastructure is version-controlled, repeatable, and auditable, allowing for consistent and reliable deployments across all environments.
• • You will be tasked with operating and optimizing our AWS-based Kubernetes (EKS) clusters. This includes managing container orchestration, ensuring high availability, and fine-tuning performance to meet the demands of high-traffic applications.
• • Automation is key to our success. You will automate deployments, streamline the creation and management of testing environments, and develop robust rollback workflows to minimize downtime and risk during releases.
• • Integrating and maintaining comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems is crucial. You will work with tools such as Prometheus, Sentry, and Groundcover to gain deep visibility into system performance, identify potential issues proactively, and ensure rapid response to any incidents.
• • You will be the go-to person for troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, providing critical support during incident response to minimize impact and restore services swiftly.
• • Continuous improvement of our GitOps workflows and delivery pipelines will be a key focus. You will explore and implement best practices to enhance efficiency, security, and developer experience.
• • Collaboration is essential. You will work closely with fellow DevOps engineers, Site Reliability Engineers (SREs), and product developers to build systems that are not only stable and scalable but also intuitive and developer-friendly, fostering a culture of shared responsibility and innovation.
• • You will collaborate closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to seamlessly integrate automated testing into the deployment process, ensuring that new features and fixes meet the highest quality standards before going live.
• • Contributing to comprehensive platform documentation and developing effective onboarding processes for new team members will ensure knowledge sharing and facilitate a smooth integration into our existing infrastructure practices.
