� Description

• • Own the reliability, scalability and security of Token Metrics’ entire cloud footprint (AWS primary, Google Cloud secondary, plus emerging multi-cloud strategy) for a platform that serves crypto investors in 50+ countries.
• • Architect, deploy and maintain highly-available, auto-scaling infrastructure that supports AI-driven crypto indices, rankings and price-prediction services ingesting terabytes of market data daily.
• • Design and implement robust monitoring, alerting and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Stackdriver, ELK/EFK) so that anomalies are detected and resolved before users ever notice.
• • Automate everything: CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD), Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi), configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Salt) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, GKE) to achieve sub-10-minute mean-time-to-recovery.
• • Build self-healing systems that auto-remediate common failure modes, freeing the engineering team to focus on new features instead of firefighting.
• • Lead incident response and post-mortems, turning every outage into a learning opportunity that improves reliability and prevents recurrence.
• • Harden security posture by implementing IAM best-practices, secret management (Vault, KMS, SSM), network segmentation, vulnerability scanning and compliance controls (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• • Optimize cloud spend through rightsizing, reserved-capacity planning, spot-instance strategies and cost-allocation tagging—delivering 20 %+ savings without impacting performance.
• • Create and maintain clear, concise documentation (runbooks, architecture diagrams, SOPs) so tribal knowledge becomes shared knowledge.
• • Mentor junior engineers and IT staff, fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• • Collaborate with data-science, backend and frontend teams to translate business requirements into resilient infrastructure designs.
• • Establish SLIs, SLOs and error budgets that align engineering velocity with user happiness.
• • Provide tier-3 support for escalated technical issues, ensuring rapid resolution and customer satisfaction.
• • Stay ahead of the curve by evaluating emerging tools (e.g., eBPF observability, service mesh, chaos engineering) and integrating those that deliver measurable value.
• • Champion DevOps and SRE best-practices across the organization, running internal workshops and brown-bag sessions to level-up the entire team.
• • Participate in a lightweight on-call rotation (follow-the-sun across global time zones) with generous comp-time and automation-first mindset to minimize after-hours pages.
