- • Perform quality control inspections on diamonds and gemstones to ensure they meet Nivoda’s established standards before acceptance or shipment.
- • Receive consolidated diamond and gemstone shipments via courier partners, verify contents against documentation, and mark orders as received in the Nivoda system.
- • Repackage diamonds and gemstones for outbound shipments, ensuring secure and compliant handling, and update the Nivoda system with accurate tracking and destination details.
- • Hand-deliver diamonds directly to local customers in NYC when required, maintaining strict chain-of-custody protocols.
- • Collect diamonds from local suppliers, conduct on-site quality assessments, and package them for shipment to designated destinations.
- • Create outbound shipments using the Nivoda platform, generate shipping labels, and distribute them to suppliers to ensure timely and traceable delivery.
- • Liaise with suppliers regarding shipment schedules, documentation, and discrepancies, and forward all related invoices to the finance department.
- • Assist customer support with inquiries related to shipping status, order updates, and urgent delivery requests, providing accurate and timely information.
- • Process returned diamonds from customers, inspect for condition and compliance, and update inventory records accordingly.
- • Follow up with courier partners to resolve delays, confirm delivery status, and ensure service level agreements are met.
- • Support daily administrative operations of the NYC office, including inventory management, supply ordering, and general office maintenance.
- • Advise management and team members on process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce delays, and strengthen quality control protocols in the local office.
- • Maintain meticulous records of all incoming and outgoing shipments, quality checks, and inventory movements within the Nivoda system.
- • Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry best practices for handling high-value gemstones and diamonds.
- • Contribute to a culture of integrity, professionalism, and operational excellence aligned with Nivoda’s company values.
🎯 Requirements
- • Hands-on experience with diamonds and gemstones or GIA certification
- • Proven experience in stock control of high-value products
