đź“‹ Description
- • Vanta, Inc. is seeking a highly analytical and results-oriented Digital Advertising Manager to join our dynamic Growth team. This pivotal role is instrumental in building and scaling Vanta's marketing engine by establishing a robust measurement foundation for our paid acquisition channels. You will blend deep analytical rigor with hands-on performance marketing ownership, shaping the systems, frameworks, and operational habits that will enable Vanta's continued rapid growth. If you are passionate about leveraging data to drive strategic decisions, optimizing campaigns across multiple platforms, and building attribution models that provide clear insights into marketing effectiveness, this is the opportunity for you.
- • As a Digital Advertising Manager, you will be at the forefront of Vanta's growth initiatives, directly impacting our ability to acquire new customers and expand our market reach. You will manage the entire lifecycle of paid digital advertising campaigns, from initial strategy and setup to ongoing optimization and performance analysis. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of various advertising platforms and a keen ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring our marketing investments yield maximum return and contribute directly to sales pipeline growth.
- • A core responsibility will be to partner closely with our Marketing Operations (MOps) and Revenue Operations (RevOps) teams. This collaboration is essential for connecting paid advertising pipeline generation directly to revenue outcomes, allowing us to optimize campaigns not just for initial engagement but for downstream conversion and customer lifetime value. You will be instrumental in creating a single, reliable source of truth for all paid performance metrics, including Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), pipeline contribution, and overall channel efficiency. This data-driven approach will empower the entire marketing team to make informed decisions.
- • You will be tasked with translating raw performance data into strategic recommendations that guide critical business decisions. This includes advising on optimal budget allocation across different channels, refining our channel mix to maximize impact, and providing direction for creative development and messaging to resonate with our target audiences. Your insights will directly influence how we invest our marketing resources and how we communicate our value proposition.
- • A significant part of your role will involve designing and executing rigorous A/B tests. You will experiment with various elements of our campaigns, including creative assets, ad copy, audience targeting parameters, promotional offers, and landing page designs. The insights gained from these tests will be vital for continuous improvement and for identifying the most effective strategies for customer acquisition.
- • You will play a key role in partnering with an external agency to build and operationalize Vanta's comprehensive attribution model. This includes defining and implementing touchpoint tracking mechanisms, establishing clear logic for funnel credit allocation, and conducting lift testing specifically for paid advertising efforts. This model will be the backbone of our understanding of campaign effectiveness.
- • Furthermore, you will define the methodology for how marketing touchpoints are tracked, classified, and credited across the entire customer funnel. This ensures that our attribution framework seamlessly integrates into our planning, budgeting, and reporting processes, providing a holistic view of marketing's impact.
- • Identifying and resolving gaps in our funnel tracking will be a critical task, requiring close collaboration with the RevOps and Data teams. Ensuring data accuracy and completeness is paramount for reliable performance analysis and strategic decision-making.
- • You will support the forecasting and budget allocation processes by delivering strategic recommendations grounded in performance data. These recommendations will guide our Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and inform our decisions regarding channel mix and investment levels.
- • Synthesizing complex performance insights into clear, concise summaries for executive stakeholders will be essential. This communication will inform long-term investment tradeoffs and strategic planning at the highest levels of the company.
- • You will also contribute to shaping our Product-Led Growth (PLG) measurement strategy, laying the groundwork for a significant rollout planned for 2026. This forward-thinking aspect of the role will help us adapt to evolving growth models.
- • Finally, as this role has a clear trajectory towards formal people management, you will have the opportunity to contribute to hiring and shaping the long-term design of the Growth Marketing team. This presents a unique chance to influence the team's structure and future direction.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of proven experience directly managing paid digital marketing campaigns across platforms like LinkedIn Ads, Facebook Ads, and TikTok Ads, with a strong track record of driving measurable conversions and ROI.
- • Demonstrated expertise in performance marketing analytics, including proficiency with tools such as Google Analytics, Excel/Google Sheets, Tableau, and various campaign management platforms.
- • Experience in designing, executing, and analyzing A/B tests, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and building/interpreting attribution models.
- • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively partner with cross-functional teams including MOps, RevOps, Data, and creative departments.
- • A proactive, growth mindset with adaptability to evolving market dynamics and emerging digital advertising technologies, including a demonstrated curiosity and willingness to leverage AI responsibly to enhance efficiency and impact.

- • 16 weeks of fully-paid Parental Leave for all new parents.
- • Generous Health & wellness stipend.
- • Remote work environment with stipends for workspace, internet, and cellphone.
- • Matching 401(k) contribution with immediate vesting.
- • Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO) policy, complemented by 80 hours of dedicated Sick Time.
- • Family planning benefits.
- • 11 company-paid holidays.
- • Opportunities for professional development through virtual team building, lunch and learns, and company-wide events.
