- • As a Digital Architect Consultant in Guidewire’s Professional Services team, you will shape the end-to-end digital architecture for complex Guidewire implementations, with a strong emphasis on frontend architecture, Jutro, and modern web technologies, directly enabling P&C insurers to modernize, scale, and serve customers with confidence.
- • You will lead the definition and documentation of scalable front-end and digital solution architectures for Guidewire implementations in LATAM, serve as a hands-on technical lead contributing code and establishing standards, design and guide complex integrations using REST APIs, provide architectural guidance and mentoring to developers, oversee solution design reviews, define frontend architecture patterns, lead adoption of reusable frameworks and accelerators, and partner with Product and R&D to surface platform limitations and co-design enhancements.
- • You will join a global Professional Services team that partners with P&C insurers worldwide to implement Guidewire’s cloud, digital, data, and AI platform, working closely with Product, R&D, and partners to reduce implementation effort and time while driving measurable customer value and successful cloud adoption, guided by a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- • In this role, you will gain deep expertise in Guidewire’s Jutro and Digital architecture, influence the evolution of frontend patterns and reusable accelerators across regions, mentor engineering teams, contribute to AI-enabled, scalable offerings, and directly impact how insurers in LATAM and beyond deliver modern, reliable digital experiences to policyholders.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of software development experience building modern web applications using contemporary frontend technologies
- • 3+ years of hands-on experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks
- • Experience architecting and delivering enterprise-scale single-page applications (SPAs)
- • Experience with, or strong willingness and ability to learn, Guidewire Jutro and Guidewire Digital architecture
- • Strong understanding of frontend architecture patterns, component-based design, and state management approaches
- • Experience integrating with RESTful APIs, JSON-based services, and enterprise backend systems
- • Strong understanding of authentication and authorization concepts, including OAuth, SSO, and identity federation
- • Experience with CSS, SASS, responsive design, accessibility standards, and frontend performance optimization
- • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and tools such as Jest, Cypress, Playwright, or similar technologies
- • Working knowledge of backend technologies, integration patterns, APIs, and cloud-native application architectures
- • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, container technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and modern deployment strategies
- • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues across frontend, middleware, and backend layers
- • Strong communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions with customer teams
- • Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies
- • Highly motivated, innovative, and proactive problem solver with strong analytical skills
- • Strong interest in emerging AI-assisted and agentic software development technologies and practices
- • Portuguese, Spanish, and English oral and written communication skills are considered an asset
