📋 Description
- • Author, test, and accept user stories to ensure product features meet defined requirements and customer needs.
- • Define and manage key metrics to measure product success and inform strategic product decisions.
- • Contribute to the development of product strategy for one or more digital products within Allstate’s growing product portfolio.
- • Decompose complex problems into manageable tasks by creating, refining, and prioritizing a product backlog for cross-functional teams.
- • Apply systems thinking to influence and guide solution design that aligns with customer needs and Allstate’s technology architecture.
- • Manage the product backlog and contribute to establishing a clear product vision, providing timely feedback on development iterations.
- • Represent the voice of the customer by engaging directly with current and potential users to understand their behaviors, needs, and pain points.
- • Participate in discovery, test & learn activities to rapidly validate product assumptions and refine product direction.
- • Partner with engineering teams to understand technical constraints and requirements, ensuring stories are authored with unambiguous specifications.
- • Use API testing tools such as Postman to validate and accept user stories prior to delivery.
- • Own the full product lifecycle, including customer outcomes and operational metrics such as availability, performance, usability, and running costs.
- • Apply Agile Methodology and Backlog Refinement practices to support iterative product development and continuous improvement.
- • Conduct Business Case Analyses to evaluate potential product initiatives and prioritize based on enterprise and customer value.
- • Develop and maintain product roadmaps that align with strategic goals and market demands.
- • Balance the use of Agile and Waterfall methodologies depending on project context and stakeholder needs.
- • Collaborate with stakeholders and partners to define and execute go-to-market and communications strategies for digital products.
- • Ensure all product decisions are data-informed and grounded in validated customer insights.
- • Work remotely from anywhere in the USA with a dedicated, private workspace and reliable internet (minimum 50 MB download, 5 MB upload).
- • Utilize Allstate-provided technology setup including laptop, monitors, headset, keyboard, and mouse.
- • Receive a monthly connectivity reimbursement to offset home internet costs while working remotely.
