- • As a Dinka Interpreter at LanguageLine Solutions, you will provide essential language services that break down communication barriers for limited-English speakers and the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing across critical sectors including healthcare, emergency services, government, and business.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include responding promptly to interpreting sessions, accurately conveying meaning between Dinka and English speakers, maintaining professionalism during high-stress calls (such as 911 or medical emergencies), and adhering to strict confidentiality and ethical standards while working remotely from your home office.

🎯 Requirements
- • Fluency in both Dinka and English, including understanding of cultural nuances and regional dialect differences.
- • Strong listening, memory, and note-taking abilities to ensure high accuracy during consecutive interpretation.
- • Ability to remain calm, neutral, and professional during emotionally charged or high-pressure calls, including emergency and medical situations.
- • Must be at least 18 years old, legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship, and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- • Access to a dedicated device (Windows, Mac, ChromeOS, iPad, Android tablet, or smartphone) and a reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 5 Mbps download, 3 Mbps upload).
- • Must maintain a quiet, distraction-free workspace suitable for professional interpretation.
