  • • As a Directeur de comptes / Account Manager at SmartBug Media, you will serve as a strategic partner to high-value clients, driving account growth and ensuring exceptional client experiences in the digital services space.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing account growth strategies, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, serving as the primary client contact, preparing proposals and RFP responses, tracking client payments, conducting satisfaction follow-ups, and providing high-level project updates to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.
  • • You will collaborate closely with the business development and web development teams to align services with clients’ strategic objectives, participate in project post-mortems to improve internal processes, and stay informed on industry trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic recommendations.

  • • In this role, you will develop expertise in strategic account management, client retention strategies, and cross-functional collaboration, while contributing directly to revenue growth and client satisfaction in a high-impact, client-facing position.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience in account management, client relationship management, or business development, preferably in digital services, web development, or technology sectors
  • • Strong ability to develop and execute strategic account growth plans, including identifying upsell, cross-sell, and new business opportunities
  • • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both French and English (required for client-facing role in Canada)
  • • Experience preparing proposals, responding to RFPs, and collaborating with business development and technical teams
  • • Track record of ensuring client satisfaction, managing retention, and driving long-term client success
  • • Familiarity with project management principles, including tracking deliverables, timelines, and budgets
