📋 Description
- • As Director of AI Engineering at ServiceTitan, you will lead the core infrastructure of the company's AI strategy, driving the development and scaling of intelligent, autonomous, and semi-autonomous systems that directly support business growth and innovation.
- • You will set the engineering vision and architecture for ServiceTitan's AI infrastructure, including model hosting/training, agent hosting, reinforcement learning, intelligence stores, and evaluation systems, ensuring alignment with business outcomes and technical excellence.
- • You will partner with product and engineering leadership to define technical roadmaps, govern LLM capabilities, oversee data processing architectures and knowledge graphs, and implement ethical AI practices while mentoring a high-performing AI engineering organization.
- • ServiceTitan is a product-driven company focused on transforming the home services industry through technology, and this role offers the opportunity to shape enterprise-wide AI agentic infrastructure that enables scalable, responsible, and impactful AI solutions across the platform.
- • In this role, you will learn to navigate the intersection of cutting-edge AI research and enterprise-scale implementation, gaining experience in leading multi-team AI organizations, influencing C-level strategy, and building systems that balance innovation with reliability, compliance, and business value.
🎯 Requirements
- • MS/Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Linguistics, or a similar quantitative discipline
- • 5+ years of experience in ML or AI engineering leadership roles, including managing multiple teams and managers in a product company shipping production software
- • Deep system-level architectural knowledge of modern NLP, LLMs, transformer architectures, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows (planning, reasoning, tool use, human-in-the-loop)
- • Expertise in vector databases, SQL, and handling unstructured text data at scale to build foundational data architectures
- • Proven ability to communicate complex AI concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including C-level executives, and act as a bridge between Engineering, Product, and leadership
