- • As the Director of AI Licensing at Gracenote, you will be a pivotal executive leader tasked with spearheading our commercial strategy within the rapidly evolving Artificial Intelligence ecosystem. This is a unique opportunity to define and establish Gracenote as the undisputed premier entertainment data partner for the world's leading AI models and their associated technological landscapes. Your primary mission will be to cultivate a robust pipeline of opportunities, successfully negotiate and close significant revenue-generating deals, and ensure Gracenote is not only prepared but positioned to lead in the AI era.
- • You will be instrumental in developing and executing world-class client and partnership strategies, acting as the primary architect of our engagement model with native AI companies. This involves taking the initiative to establish and grow this entirely new customer segment, demonstrating a proactive and entrepreneurial approach to market penetration.
- • A core responsibility will be to conceptualize and implement a compelling vision for engaging the broader AI ecosystem. This encompasses a wide range of activities, from negotiating landmark licensing agreements that set new industry standards to driving deep, integrated content partnerships with leading AI model developers and other critical players within the AI value chain.
- • You will design and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies, including the development of enablement programs. These initiatives will be crucial in upskilling and empowering Gracenote's commercial organization, equipping them with the knowledge and tools necessary to effectively drive the adoption of our current and future AI-related offerings across both existing and prospective customer bases.
- • Serving as the critical commercial counterpart to the Gracenote AI Product Lead, you will be the essential 'voice of the customer' internally. Your insights and feedback will be fundamental in shaping our product roadmap and driving innovation, ensuring that our offerings are precisely aligned with market demands and future trends in AI.
- • A key aspect of this role involves the creation and deployment of innovative licensing models and sophisticated valuation frameworks. These will be specifically tailored for the unique ways content and data are utilized in AI applications, including but not limited to AI grounding, model training, retrieval mechanisms, and other emerging use cases.
- • You will act as a high-visibility sponsor for our most important AI accounts and strategic partnerships. This includes orchestrating executive-level engagement, fostering strong relationships, and ensuring the swift and effective resolution of any challenges or opportunities that arise.
- • Collaboration is paramount. You will partner strategically and seamlessly with our Product, Engineering, Legal, and Finance teams. This cross-functional partnership will support the entire lifecycle of our AI-related partnerships, from the initial stages of negotiation through to global rollout and ongoing management.
- • Furthermore, you will be a prominent representative of Gracenote at key industry conferences, trade shows, and partner forums. In this capacity, you will serve as a crucial evangelist for our AI strategy, articulating our vision, capabilities, and the value we bring to the AI landscape.
- • This role demands a blend of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and a deep understanding of the AI market. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the AI industry, and ultimately driving significant revenue growth for Gracenote in this transformative sector.
