Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Scale Army is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to spearhead the development and launch of cutting-edge AI-first products. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to own digital products from conception through to iteration, with a specialized focus on AI agents and Large Language Model (LLM)-based systems. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of our AI-driven offerings, working collaboratively with talented engineering, data, and AI teams to design, ship, and continuously improve products that leverage the power of LLMs.
  • • As a Product Manager at Scale Army, you will be at the forefront of innovation, driving the product lifecycle for complex AI solutions. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of activities, including defining product strategy, developing detailed product roadmaps, and translating user needs and business objectives into actionable product requirements. You will be expected to deeply understand the capabilities and limitations of AI technologies, particularly LLMs and AI agents, to make informed product decisions.
  • • A significant aspect of this role involves hands-on engagement with AI agents, specifically those that are multi-step and capable of tool utilization. You will be responsible for defining their functionalities, user interactions, and integration points within broader product ecosystems. This requires a nuanced understanding of how these agents operate and how to best harness their potential to deliver value to our clients.
  • • You will also be expected to possess a strong command of LLM fundamentals. This includes a solid grasp of concepts such as tokens, context windows, latency, and the associated cost trade-offs. This knowledge is crucial for optimizing LLM performance, managing resources effectively, and ensuring the scalability and cost-efficiency of our AI products.
  • • A key deliverable will be the seamless integration of AI/LLMs with existing systems, including APIs, internal tools, and other software components. You will need to architect and oversee the implementation of these integrations, ensuring robust performance, security, and maintainability. This requires the ability to bridge the gap between technical possibilities and product realities.
  • • The role demands an ownership mindset, where you will be accountable for all phases of the product lifecycle: discovery, delivery, iteration, and optimization. This end-to-end responsibility ensures that products are not only launched successfully but also continuously refined based on user feedback and performance data.
  • • Strong prioritization and decision-making skills are paramount, especially when navigating uncertainty and complex technical landscapes. You will need to make tough calls, balancing competing priorities and resource constraints to deliver the most impactful outcomes.
  • • Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You will work closely and effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, and AI research. Fostering strong relationships and clear communication channels will be essential for successful product development and execution.
  • • A data-driven approach to product validation and iteration is expected. You will leverage analytics, user feedback, and A/B testing to measure product performance, identify areas for improvement, and inform future product development cycles.
  • • This position is ideal for a seasoned Product Manager with a proven track record of shipping real products, not just prototypes or Proofs of Concept (POCs). You should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and possess the strategic vision to guide AI product development from inception to market success.
  • • The role requires availability during U.S. business hours to effectively support our U.S.-based clients, making it suitable for candidates located in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe who can align their working hours accordingly.
  • • You will be responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-first products, ensuring alignment with company goals and market opportunities.
  • • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user research to identify new product opportunities and validate product hypotheses.
  • • Write detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams.
  • • Collaborate with design and UX teams to create intuitive and engaging user experiences for AI-powered products.
  • • Manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and make trade-off decisions based on business value, technical feasibility, and user impact.
  • • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and product positioning.
  • • Monitor product performance, gather user feedback, and iterate on products to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
