  • • Lead the strategic development and scaling of a dedicated AI & Security Development function within the cybersecurity organization, reporting directly to the Chief Information Security Officer.
  • • Define the strategy, operating model, and service offerings for AI-powered security capabilities, aligning them with enterprise security objectives and risk posture.
  • • Drive the development of Agentic AI systems designed to automate detection, triage, investigation, and response activities across security operations.
  • • Build and expand automation and orchestration capabilities across enterprise security tools and platforms to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload.
  • • Enable comprehensive security data integration, analytics, and reporting infrastructure to support both operational teams and executive decision-making.
  • • Establish and enforce secure AI development practices, including governance frameworks for model training, deployment, and monitoring within DevSecOps pipelines.
  • • Partner closely with Security Operations, Security Architecture, and Governance, Risk & Compliance teams to align AI and automation initiatives with broader security controls and compliance requirements.
  • • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing technical team focused on AI development, security engineering, and data analytics.
  • • Translate complex technical capabilities into measurable business value, demonstrating clear risk reduction and operational impact to leadership.
  • • Ensure all AI and automation initiatives adhere to industry best practices for secure software development, cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), and API-driven architectures.
  • • Act as a technical and strategic liaison between cybersecurity leadership and engineering teams to bridge gaps between innovation and operational reality.
  • • Maintain awareness of emerging AI and security trends, evaluating their applicability to the organization’s threat landscape and technology stack.
  • • Champion the adoption of ethical AI principles and risk management frameworks specific to AI deployment in regulated environments.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, software engineering, or related technical disciplines, including 5+ years in leadership roles
  • • Proven experience building or scaling automation, AI/ML, or advanced analytics capabilities in enterprise environments
  • • Strong background in secure software development, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and API-driven systems
  • • Experience with security operations, detection engineering, or incident response workflows
  • • Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels with strong communication skills and executive presence
  • • Experience with enterprise AI platforms or LLM-based systems and familiarity with AI risk management and governance frameworks (preferred)
