📋 Description
- • Drive new business growth and expand existing client relationships for Drug Discovery & Pre-Clinical Development services across the Benelux region.
- • Work closely with the VP of Sales to develop and execute the commercial strategy for the territory, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- • Maintain high visibility in the market by spending 40–50% of time client-facing, including site visits, meetings, and industry events.
- • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead qualification to contract negotiation and closure, ensuring timely and accurate pipeline management in CRM.
- • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with pharmaceutical and biotech companies, focusing on acquiring clients in the discovery and pre-clinical development space.
- • Meet or exceed assigned quarterly sales targets and KPIs through strategic account planning and consistent pipeline development.
- • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations, serving as the primary point of contact during the pre-award phase.
- • Conduct capability presentations, introductory calls, and needs-assessment meetings to align Evotec’s services with client R&D priorities.
- • Ensure seamless handoff of awarded contracts to Project Management teams while maintaining client satisfaction and identifying cross-sell or upsell opportunities.
- • Represent Evotec at industry trade shows, conferences, and scientific events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
- • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CRO industry trends, competitive landscape, regulatory changes, and client R&D strategies to inform commercial decisions.
- • Provide market intelligence and client feedback to internal teams including Operations, Proposals, and Marketing to support service development and commercial strategy.
- • Maintain a robust, accurate, and actively updated sales pipeline within the CRM system to enable forecasting and resource planning.
- • Travel extensively (40%+) to meet clients, attend events, and support business development activities across the Benelux region.
- • Demonstrate strong commercial acumen, analytical thinking, and resilience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- • Work independently with high self-motivation while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams including Operations, Marketing, and Proposals.
- • Apply deep understanding of the drug discovery and pre-clinical development process to articulate value propositions to scientific and executive stakeholders.
- • Build and leverage an established network within the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors to accelerate business development outcomes.
- • Sell complex scientific and technical services with confidence, translating technical capabilities into client-centric business solutions.
