- • As Director of Business Engineering at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, you will lead critical components of the core business processing environment, directly impacting how healthcare services are delivered to millions of members through strategic oversight of Facets benefit and provider configuration and enterprise-wide application services initiatives.
- • Day to day, you will direct and manage large or complex application development projects, define technology strategies aligned with client needs, maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, monitor technical issue resolution, ensure quality standards, and lead, motivate, and develop high-performing management teams and key staff.
- • You will join a mission-driven healthcare organization dedicated to providing peace of mind through better health, where your leadership in business engineering will drive transformation across enterprise systems and support scalable, efficient operations in a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in healthcare payer systems, particularly the Facets Core Processing System, while advancing your leadership capabilities in organizational development, technical strategy, and cross-functional collaboration—positioning you to shape both technological and business outcomes at scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (defined as 4 years of professional corporate experience)
- • 10 years of configuration experience, including hands-on expertise with the Facets system
- • 5 years of operational management experience
- • 1 year of experience with large-scale projects
- • Demonstrated skill in configuration and testing techniques with comprehensive knowledge of Facets Core Processing System
- • Proven organizational, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
