- • Lead and develop a high-performing BI team by recruiting, mentoring, and fostering expertise in healthcare data analytics, reporting, and data warehousing while promoting continuous learning and professional growth across Allegheny Health Network (AHN).
- • Define and execute a comprehensive Business Intelligence strategy aligned with AHN’s strategic goals for patient care, operational efficiency, quality outcomes, and financial performance, including roadmap development and stakeholder collaboration.
- • Establish and enforce enterprise-wide data governance, quality standards, and privacy frameworks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations for Protected Health Information (PHI).
- • Oversee the design, development, maintenance, and performance optimization of AHN’s data warehouses, data lakes, and data infrastructure, ensuring robust integration, scalability, and security from clinical and administrative systems.
- • Champion data literacy and effective utilization of BI tools and insights across clinical, operational, and administrative departments to demonstrate the value of data-driven decision-making.
- • Provide technical and analytical leadership in BI development, advanced data querying, and integration patterns, guiding the team in leveraging complex healthcare data models for actionable insights and reporting.
- • Manage the BI project portfolio, resource allocation, and project lifecycle to ensure initiatives align with strategic priorities, are delivered efficiently, and deliver measurable value.
- • Collaborate with clinical, financial, and IT stakeholders to identify and prioritize technology and process improvements using current and emerging BI platforms.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of ten years progressively responsible IT experience in developing and implementing complex enterprise systems.
- • Minimum six years of managerial responsibilities for direct reports, including hiring, performance evaluation, training, and delegation.
- • High School Diploma or GED.
- • Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- • Preferred: Epic reporting and warehousing experience.
- • Preferred: Healthcare experience.
