📋 Description

• As Director Business Operations at TrustYou GmbH, you will lead the optimization of internal systems, SaaS tools, compliance, and business processes to drive operational efficiency and support scalable growth across a globally distributed, remote-first organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a pivotal role in aligning internal operations with strategic business goals, ensuring that TrustYou’s infrastructure enables seamless collaboration, data integrity, and regulatory adherence while empowering teams to focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences through its AI-driven hospitality platform.
• You will own and evolve the Internal Operations and Office IT functions, overseeing the selection, implementation, and management of enterprise SaaS tools (including but not limited to HRIS, finance systems, collaboration platforms, and security solutions), ensuring they are integrated, cost-effective, and aligned with compliance standards such as GDPR and ISO 27001. Your leadership will directly impact productivity, reduce operational friction, and enable TrustYou to scale its innovative CXP, CDP, and AI Agents offerings without internal bottlenecks.
• Day to day, you will: assess and improve internal workflows across finance, HR, legal, and IT departments; lead vendor evaluations and contract negotiations for critical business software; design and enforce IT policies around device management, access controls, and data security; oversee office infrastructure for TrustYou’s German hub (even in a remote context); monitor and report on operational KPIs such as system uptime, tool adoption rates, and process cycle times; partner with department heads to identify pain points and co-create solutions; manage a small team of operations and IT specialists, providing mentorship and clear direction; drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or Agile methodologies; ensure audit readiness and support internal and external compliance reviews; and act as the escalation point for cross-functional operational issues.
• You will join a multicultural team of over 120 professionals spread across remote locations worldwide, united by a shared mission to revolutionize hospitality through AI-powered guest experience solutions. 🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Systems, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in business operations, IT management, or internal systems leadership, preferably in a tech, SaaS, or remote-first environment.
• Proven track record of selecting, implementing, and optimizing enterprise SaaS stacks (e.g., HRIS like Workday or BambooHR, ERP/finance tools like NetSuite or QuickBooks Enterprise, collaboration suites like Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, and security platforms like Okta or JumpCloud).
• Strong understanding of GDPR, data privacy regulations, and IT compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2) as applied to remote, international teams.
• Experience leading and mentoring small teams in a hybrid or remote setting, with demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills — fluent in English; German language proficiency is a strong plus.
