- • As Director of Business Operations at Bjak Sdn. Bhd., you will be responsible for building and running the operational infrastructure behind A1, a proactive AI smart assistant designed to integrate intelligence into everyday workflows, conversations, errands, and organization with minimal prompting. This role is critical to enabling the company’s scalability and execution across markets.
- • Day to day, you will lead business operations across multiple countries, manage and develop a team of Business Operations Partners, oversee office setup, entity incorporation, and market launches, manage payroll implementation and local operational requirements, coordinate with external vendors and service providers, support recruiting operations and hiring activities, plan and execute company events and offsites, track key initiatives for timely completion, and continuously improve processes to increase speed and reliability.
- • The team operates with high talent density, high ownership, and high standards, valuing independent thinking, rapid execution, and problem-solving without waiting for instructions. You will work closely with recruiting, finance, legal, and administrative functions in a hands-on environment where everyone contributes directly to the company’s success.
- • In this role, you will achieve end-to-end ownership of operational execution across markets, build scalable systems from the ground up, develop leadership skills by managing a growing team, and gain deep exposure to cross-functional challenges in a fast-scaling AI startup. You will have the opportunity to shape foundational processes that enable global expansion and drive measurable impact on company velocity and resilience.
