- • Director of Business Operations at Bjak Sdn. Bhd. is a strategic leadership role responsible for building and scaling the operational infrastructure that enables A1’s AI smart assistant to expand globally. This role ensures the company can execute efficiently across markets by establishing legal entities, managing payroll, overseeing vendor relationships, and supporting recruiting operations.
- • Day to day, the Director will lead business operations across multiple countries, manage and develop a team of Business Operations Partners, oversee office setup and entity incorporation, implement payroll systems, manage external vendors, support recruiting activities including onboarding and hiring, plan company events and offsites, track key initiatives for timely completion, and continuously improve processes to increase speed and reliability.
- • The team operates within A1, a mission-driven company building a proactive AI smart assistant designed to bring intelligence to everyday conversations, errands, organizing, and workflows with minimal prompting. The company prioritizes high talent density, ownership, and execution speed, operating with small, highly capable teams that value independence and problem-solving without waiting for instructions.
- • In this role, the person will develop deep expertise in global business operations, entity management, cross-functional leadership, and scaling startups internationally. They will gain experience navigating legal, financial, HR, and administrative complexities across jurisdictions while building repeatable operational systems that support rapid growth and innovation.

- • Experience in business operations, strategic operations, founder's office, or similar roles
- • Experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholders
