- • The Director of Business Systems Technology will lead the evolution of Amplify Education’s enterprise ecosystem, moving beyond traditional system maintenance to architect a high-velocity delivery model across the Core 4 suite (NetSuite, Salesforce, Workday, and Boomi) and related applications.
- • Day to day, the role involves leading the Technology delivery team, managing resource capacity and delivery velocity, owning and improving the SDLC process, implementing AI-driven workflows and automation, managing vendor relationships, collaborating cross-functionally, aligning data strategy with the data team, and establishing technological ways of working to streamline execution and improve output quality.
- • Amplify Education is a leader in K–12 literacy, biliteracy, math, and science, serving over 18 million students and teachers across all 50 states and six continents by building research-based teaching and learning experiences. The company partners with educators to drive implementation quality and improved outcomes through its integrated Classroom platform.
- • In this role, the person will drive operational efficiency and informed decision-making by integrating AI-driven interventions and machine learning workflows across the value chain, ensuring platforms are stable, scalable, and actively driving innovation and data-led decision-making, while developing expertise in enterprise AI orchestration, integration architecture, and strategic technology leadership in a high-growth EdTech environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of experience in business systems development leadership with expert-level architectural knowledge in at least two of the Core 4 platforms: NetSuite, Salesforce, Workday, or Boomi
- • Experience managing the evolution of a complex SaaS ecosystem, moving beyond maintenance to proactive optimization and scaling
- • Demonstrated expertise in establishing and managing high-output delivery teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies, with a clear philosophy for balancing delivery velocity with system stability
- • Extensive experience managing high-output consultant teams and staff augmentation models, focusing on deliverable quality and fiscal health of technical spend
- • Deep understanding of middleware and integration patterns (e.g., Boomi, Mulesoft) to ensure data integrity and seamless flow across a best-of-breed tech stack
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
