- • The Director, Channel Commerce Strategy (Distribution) is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping Veeam’s global ability to transact through distributors, aggregators, and reseller ecosystems, ensuring scalable renewals, overage handling, and improved partner experience across a multi-billion dollar route-to-market.
- • Day to day, the role involves leading global channel transactability strategy, serving as the subject-matter expert on distributor and aggregator systems, defining integration requirements and standards, translating business needs into technical requirements, driving cross-functional alignment, improving end-to-end transaction processes, enabling reportable transaction data, supporting tooling decisions, owning escalation resolution, and ensuring smooth operational handoffs.

- • In this role, the individual will develop deep expertise in global channel commerce systems, influence cross-functional technology and business decisions, drive measurable improvements in transaction speed and reliability, and build leadership credibility as a trusted advisor on distributor and aggregator ecosystems.
🎯 Requirements
- • 15+ years of experience in channel operations, commerce strategy, GTM systems, business systems/product ownership, or related roles with a focus on transactions and integrations in a global B2B technology environment.
- • Proven experience working with distributors and/or aggregators, including integration and operational process alignment.
- • Strong understanding of quote-to-cash concepts and channel transaction lifecycles, including ordering, renewals, entitlements, and overage scenarios.
- • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and functions, including Corporate Technology, Channel Programs, Finance, RevOps, Operations, Sales, and Pricing.
- • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint) and common documentation and collaboration tools.
- • Familiarity with integration technologies and patterns such as APIs, EDI, data mapping, and transaction/event logging.
