- • Lead a geographically diverse, remote Content & Systems Team with full responsibility for hiring, performance management, coaching, promotions, and talent planning.
- • Establish governance, standards, workflows, and KPIs for boilerplate and custom proposal content and accessibility practices, ensuring managers operationalize these within their domains.
- • Provide executive oversight of Qvidian, Smartsheet, SharePoint, and related content and workflow platforms, setting enhancement priorities and partnering with the VP, Adoptions & Proposals, IT business partner, and other teams on roadmaps, integrations, and vendor decisions.
- • Ensure technology and accessibility-related RFP and rubric requirements are consistently addressed across all Adoptions & Proposals deliverables, coordinating with Accessibility and Technology/Security partners as needed.
- • Oversee the assignment of content leads for proposals and rubrics, participating in go-forward RFP decisions and aligning appropriate expertise to complex and high-priority opportunities.
- • Work with Adoptions & Proposals leaders to guide the strategic direction and success metrics for systems innovation and AI-enabled efficiencies across the department.
- • Facilitate access to professional development for team members, including training in systems, accessibility, AI tools, and cross-functional product knowledge.
- • Lead or co-lead key strategic initiatives and cross-functional workstreams that extend beyond individual manager scopes, resolving conflicts, balancing priorities, and maintaining alignment with departmental and organizational goals.
- • Manage multiple concurrent projects and tasks, anticipating problems and developing creative, data-driven solutions in a deadline-driven environment.
- • Communicate clearly and persuasively to influence stakeholders at all levels and maintain alignment across distributed teams.
- • Collaborate effectively across departments and business units with competing needs, serving as a unifying motivator and ethical problem-solver.
- • Maintain proficiency in Qvidian, Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Pro, SharePoint, and other standard business applications to support content systems and workflow efficiency.
- • Promote the use of AI-enabled tools and data-driven workflows, assessing practical applications, risks, and opportunities in a business context.
- • Ensure all proposal content meets compliance, accessibility, and technical requirements while continuously improving system usability and team productivity.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of professional experience
- • 5+ years of experience in the K–12 edpub / edtech industry
- • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent
- • Proven team building and personnel management skills, including hiring, coaching, and performance management
- • Proficiency with Qvidian, Word, Excel, Adobe Pro, SharePoint, and other standard business applications
- • Working knowledge of AI-enabled tools and data-driven workflows with ability to assess business applications
